B Original will release the official soundtrack album for the dramatic thriller Elephants in the Fog. The album features the film’s original score composed by Frédéric Alvarez (The Monk and the Gun, The Third War, In the Land of Brothers, Louloute, Love According to Dalva). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 23. The streaming/download link will be added to this page within the next day. Underground Talkies Nepal has previously released a digital single featuring two songs from the movie last month. Elephants in the Fog is written and directed by Abinash Bikram Shah and stars Pushpa Thing Lama, Deepika Yadav, Aliz Ghimire, Jasmine Bishwokarma and Dura Sanjay Kumar Gupta. The movie follows a village matriarch who must choose between her heart’s desires and her duty to her community when a young woman disappears into the forest. The thriller, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Festival and just made its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, will be released in French theaters tomorrow. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
