Sony Masterworks will release the official soundtrack album for Aardman’s animated comedy Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom. The album features the film’s original score composed by Emmy Award nominee Natalie Holt (Loki, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Chad Powers, The Princess, Journey’s End, Talamsca: The Secret Order, Rivals, Beecham House, Knightfall, Herself, Press). Also included is a new “Halloween Mix” of the theme song Shaun the Sheep – Life’s a Treat by the track’s songwriters Mark Thomas & Vic Reeves and the hip hop duo Rizzle Kicks. Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom is directed by Steve Cox & Matthew Walker and features the voices of Justin Fletcher, John Sparkes, Kate Harbour, Roman Kemp and Dani Dyer. The movie sees the residents of Mossy Bottom Farm looking forward to Halloween, until the clumsy Farmer trashes the Flock’s treasured pumpkin patch. The animated feature is being released in U.S. theaters nationwide this weekend by GKIDS and is being distributed in the UK by Sky Cinema.
