Benedikt Palier (Breaking the Ice, Soldat Ahmed) has released a soundtrack album for the German/Austrian drama Oasis (Oase). The album features the composer’s original music from the film and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to Palier’s (extended) credits track after the jump. Oasis is co-written and directed by Jannis Lenz and stars Florian Geißelmann, Anton Petzold, Mathilda Smidt and Godehard Giese. The movie follows three outcasts, crushed by the pressure of teachers and parents when a viral video of a student threatening his classmates surfaces online, as they seek sanctuary in a nearby forest where ritualistic survival games and shared pain force them to confront their deepest wounds. The drama just premiered earlier this month in the Horizons section at the 2026 Venice Film Festival and is set to open in German theaters in early 2027 . No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
