Jeff Cardoni (Silicon Valley, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, Ransom Canyon, CSI :Miami, The Kominsky Method, White House Plumbers, Just Friends) is scoring the upcoming British HBO original series Youth. The show is created by Sharon Horgan and stars Horgan herself, Rupert Friend, Sharlene Whyte, Aran Murphy and Robbie Gee. The comedy follows a 50-year-old divorcee’s search for sex and love whilst juggling caring for her ailing parents and parenting her should-be grown up son.. Horgan is also executive producing the Merman production with Faye Dorn (Bad Sisters, Domina), Jim Kleverweis (Insecure, Euphoria), as well as Dawn Shadforth (Trespasses) who is also directing. Cardoni has previously scored the Kleverweis-produced HBO shows Silicon Valley & The Franchise. Youth will premiere on September 20, 2026 on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
Cardoni is also expected to return to score the second season of Fox’s Best Medicine, which will premiere on September 22, as well as the sixth season CBS’ Ghosts, which is set to debut in early 2027.
