Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album for the fantasy adventure Masters of the Universe. The album features the film’s expanded original score composed by Daniel Pemberton (Project Hail Mary, Spider-Man: Into/Across the Spider-Verse, Steve Jobs, The Bad Guys, Enola Holmes, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Birds of Prey, Slow Horses, Materialists), including previously unreleased music. Brian May is the featured electric guitar soloist on several tracks and The Darkness have contributed the title song (co-written with Pemberton). The Deluxe Edition soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, August 14. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. The label has previously released the original soundtrack album back in June. Masters of the Universe is directed by Travis Knight and stars Nicholas Galitzine, Camila Mendes, Idris Elba, Jared Leto, Alison Brie, Morena Baccarin, James Purefoy, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Charlotte Riley and Kristen Wiig. The movie, which was released in theaters in June by Amazon MGM Studios, is now available to stream on Prime Video and will be coming out on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on October 20.
