Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for the Disney Channel original movie Descendants: Wicked Wonderland. The album features the songs from the film performed by the movie’s cast. Also included is a score suite written by the project’s composer Torin Borrowdale (Searching, Locke & Key, Descendants: The Rise of Red, Pulse, Five Days at Memorial). The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 17 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Perfect Princess written by Mitch Allan, Chantry Johnson & Michelle Zarlenga and performed by lead actresses Kylie Cantrall & Malia Baker) is already available to stream/download now. Descendants: Wicked Wonderland is directed by Kimmy Gatewood and also stars Leonardo Nam, Liamani Segura, Paolo Montalban, Rita Ora, Brandy, Melanie Paxson, Brendon Tremblay, Alexandro Byrd, Kiara Romero, Joel Oulette, Zavien Garrett, Ryan McEwen and Dayton Paradis, as well as Awkwafina as the voice of Chessy the Cat. The fantasy musical will premiere on July 16 on the Disney Channel and the following day on Disney+.
