Composer Philip White (Nobody’s Fool, A Madea Homecoming/Family Funeral, The Winchesters, Alex & Me, The Loud House Movie) is reuniting with writers/directors Jon Lucas & Scott Moore (Bad Moms, 21 & Over) on the upcoming comedy Spa Weekend. The film is written and directed by Lucas & Moore and stars Leslie Mann, Isla Fisher, Michelle Buteau and Anna Faris. The movie follows four lifelong friends who realize that they have forgotten how to take care of themselves and each other and escape to a luxury spa retreat for what turns out to be an unforgettable weekend dedicated to fun, laughter, and a lot of really bad decisions. Suzanne Todd (Alice in Wonderland, Austin Powers) is producing the project with John Friedberg (Ferrari, Shelter). White has previously co-scored Lucas’ & Moore’s last feature, Jexi. Spa Weekend will be released in theaters nationwide on August 21, 2026 by Black Bear Pictures.
