Intrada Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1973 British television movie Frankenstein: The True Story directed by Jack Smight, based on Mary Shelley’s classic novel and starring Leonard Whiting as Victor Frankenstein, Jane Seymour as Prima, James Mason as Dr Polidori, David McCallum as Henry Clerval and Michael Sarrazin as the Creature. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Gil Mellé (The Andromeda Strain, Night Gallery, The Sentinel, Borderline, The Organization). The CD is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. Frankenstein: The True Story is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
