B Original has released a soundtrack album for the French/Belgian TV series Summer of ’36 (L’Été 36). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Pascal Lafa (The Dancer, Sueurs, Goodnight Soldier). Summer of ’36 is created by Marie Deshaires & Catherine Touzet and stars Julie de Bona, Sofia Essaïdi, Nolwenn Leroy, Constance Gay, Miou-Miou, Sam Karmann, François-Xavier Demaison and Pascal Elbé. The period drama is set in the French Riviera during the summer of 1936 and follows four women from different backgrounds who find themselves entangled in a murder at the chic Hotel Riviera. The series premiered in France last week on TF1.
