Edmund Butt (Life on Mars, Bancroft, The Miracle Club, Origin, Dalíland, Intergalactic, Finding Alice, Ashes to Ashes, Mistress) is set to score the upcoming British drama Iron Ribbon. The film is directed by Jarek Marszewski (Bikini Blue) and stars Sarah Gadon, Tom Hughes,Robert Kazinsky, Tamer Hassan and Lee Knight. The movie is set against the backdrop of Jazz Age Paris and is based on the true story of Polish actress Stanisława “Stasia” Umińska who was accused of killing her lover, artist Jan Zyznowski, and whose 1920s Paris trial became a landmark crime-of-passion case. Adam Howes (The End of All Things) wrote the screenplay. Daniella Gonella, Lee Thomas, Jay Michaelson (ExTerminators, The Legend of Hell’s Gate: An American Conspiracy) and Rosa Russo are producing the project. Iron Ribbon is scheduled to start principal photography in late 2026. (Deadline)
