Carrel Records has released a soundtrack album for the Irish coming-of-age drama Spilt Milk. The album features the film’s original music composed by Scott Twynholm (The Secret of Me, Ride the Wave, Bill Douglas – My Best Friend, Make It to Munich). Spilt Milk is directed by Brian Durnin and stars Cillian Sullivan, Naoise Kelly, Danielle Galligan, Laurence O’Fuarain, Pom Boyd and Lewis Brophy. The movie tells the story of an 11-year old boy who dreams of becoming a great detective like his TV hero Kojak and sets up his own private-investigation enterprise with his best friend to embark on a quest to find his friend’s older brother.The drama premiered at the 2024 Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (and screened at the 2025 Glasgow Film Festival, where it received the Audience Award) and just opened in select Irish theaters earlier this month.
