Tom Howe (Ted LassoDog Man, Shrinking, Knuckles, Early Man, Parenthood, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, Daisy Jones & the SixBook Club: The New Chapter) is set to score the upcoming fifth installment of the hit Disney Channel/Disney+ original movie Zombies franchise. The currently untitled movie is directed by Paul Hoen (who previously helmed the first four films) and will star Malachi Barton and Freya Skye who will return to their roles as Victor and Nova, as well as Trevor Tordjman as Bucky. The sequel follows Nova and Victor as they must unite their groups once more to discover what a  band of fierce mermaids who arrive in Rayburn are really after in order to protect the fragile harmony between the between the Daywalkers and Vampires they worked so hard to build. Hoen is also producing the project with franchise stars Milo Manheim & Megan Donnelly, as well as Jane Fleming & Mark Ordesky (The Frozen GroundTiger Eyes), David Light & Joseph Raso (Sneakerella). Howe has previously scored last year’s Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires, while George S. Clinton & Amit May Cohen composed the score for the first three installments. Zombies 5 will premiere on the Disney Channel and Disney+. No release date has been announced yet.

Howe’s other recent and upcoming projects include the third season of Apple TV’s Shrinking, MGM+’s American Classic, which just premiered yesterday, Vanessa Caswil’s Reminders of Him, which will open in theaters next Friday, March 13, as well as the fourth season of Apple TV’s Ted Lasso, which will premiere this summer.
