MMR has released a soundtrack album for the Swiss documentary Blame. The album features the film’s original music composed by Marcel Vaid (South of Hope Street, Davos 1917, Semret, Polish Prayers). The soundtrack is now available so stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first track (Flight from the Cave) below. Blame directed by Christian Frei is set against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic and centers on three scientists who long predicted its arrival who must battle not only the virus but also a wave of misinformation, conspiracy theories, and political blame that threatens to eclipse the truth. The movie premiered at last year’s Visions du Réel International Film Festival and will be released in German and Swiss theaters this April. No domestic distribution deal has been announced yet.
