Ben Salisbury (Ex Machina, Devs, Civil War, Annihilation, Civil War, Luce, Steve, Archive 81) and Suvi-Eeva Äikäs (Constellation, Hanna, Baghead, Matriarch) are the composers of the new Sky limited series Under Salt Marsh. The show is created by Claire Oakley and stars Kelly Reilly, Rafe Spall, Naomi Yang, Jonathan Pryce, Dinita Gohil, Kimberley Nixon, Brian Gleeson, Mark Stanley, Harry Lawtey. The 6-part crime thriller follows a former detective turned teacher who makes a shocking discovery that reopens the wounds of a three-year-old cold case which cost her both her career and her family’s trust. Oakley also serves as the lead director and is executive producing the project with Reilly, Elwen Rowlands (The Pact, The Last Post) for Little Door Productions and Megan Spanjian (Atomic, Amadeus) for Sky Studios. Salisbury has previously scored Oakley’s 2020 feature Make Up. Under Salt Marsh will premiere in the UK this Friday, January 30 on Sky and will also be available to stream on the streaming service NOW.
