Laced Records will release a soundtrack album for the psychological horror thriller Return to Silent Hill. The album features the film’s original music composed by Akira Yamaoka who is best known for his scores for the Silent Hill video game franchise and previously co-scored the first two installments (2006’s Silent Hill & 2012’s Silent Hill: Revelation) in the feature series. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, January 23. The streaming/download link will be added to this article soon. Return to Silent Hill is co-written and directed by Christophe Gans and stars Jeremy Irvine and Hannah Emily Anderson. The movie follows James Sunderland who is drawn to the titular once-familiar town now consumed by darkness when he receives a mysterious letter from his lost love and faces monstrous creatures as he searches for her. The third installment in the Silent Hill film series is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Cineverse.
