B Original has released a soundtrack album for the French sci-fi thriller The Site (Grand Ciel). The album features the film’s original music composed by Carla Pallone (The Girl with a Bracelet, Libre Garance). The Site is co-written and directed by Akihiro Hata and stars Damien Bonnard, Samir Guesmi and Mouna Soualem. The movie follows a man who works the night shift on the construction site of a futuristic district, when a worker goes missing and suspicion arises that their superiors are covering up an accident. The thriller premiered at last year’s Venice Film Festival and is being released in French theaters today. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
