Jamal Green (Breeders, Take Cover, TOEM, G’wed, Something We Made, Skelattack) has provided the original score for the upcoming British gothic horror feature The Dreadful. The film is written and directed by Natasha Kermani (Lucky, Abraham’s Boys: A Dracula Story) and stars Sophie Turner, Kit Harington, Marcia Gay Harden and Laurence O’Fuarain. The movie is set in medieval England and tells the story of a young woman and her domineering mother-in-law who struggle to survive on the outskirts of society, when a curse begins to take shape through a mysterious knight and threatens to destroy them all. Kermani & Turner are also producing the project with Lucas Jarach (Wild Oats, Echo Boomers), Adam G. Simon (On Our Way), Bull Blumenthal, Patrick Hibler (Marlowe, The Comeback Trail), Luke Daniels (Outlaws and Angels, Running on Empty) and Greg Lauritano (Fairyland, Bleeding Love). The Dreadful will be released in select U.S. theaters and on VOD on February 20, 2026 by Lionsgate.
