Buck Records has released a soundtrack album for the animated special The Scarecrows’ Wedding. The album features the film’s original music composed by Terry Davies (Play Without Words, Tiddler, Revolting Rhymes, The Car Man). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to a track (Betty and Harry) from the composer’s score below. The Scarecrows’ Weddingis directed by Samantha Cutler & Jeroen Jaspaert and features the voices of Jessie Buckley, Domhnall Gleeson, Rob Brydon, as well as Sophie Okonedo as the narrator. The Magic Light Pictures production based on the picture book of the same name written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler tells the story of two devoted scarecrows who are planning a wedding to remember, when a smooth-talking scarecrow swoops in with plans of his own. The animated short premiered in the UK on Christmas Day on BBC One.
