SyncPhonic Waves has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Invisible Nation. The album features the film’s original music composed by Wei-San Hsu (Beneath the Banyan Tree, Another Woman) who received a nomination for the David Raskin Award for Emerging Talent at this year’s SCL Award for her score. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s final track (Island of Freedom) after the jump. Invisible Nation is directed by Vanessa Hope and centers on Taiwan’s first female president, Tsai Ing-wen, and her fight for the survival of the nation’s democracy at a time when freedom around the world is under threat from authoritarianism. The movie premiered at the 2023 Woodstock Film Festival and was released in select U.S. theaters last summer by Abramorama. The documentary will make its broadcast debut on PBS in May 2026.
