Electronic music producer Hainbach has released a soundtrack album for the German historical coming-of-age- drama Amrum. The album features the artist’s original music from the film and is now available to stream/download on Bandcamp, where you can also check out the track list. The title track has also just been released on all major digital music services (including Amazon) and can also be checked out after the jump. Amrum is co-written and directed by Fatih Akin and stars Jasper Billerbeck, Laura Tonke, Lisa Hagmeister, Kian Köppke and Diane Kruger. The movie follows a 12-year-old boy as he unravels a family secret in the final weeks of World War II on the titular secluded island, where the inhabitants feel the effects of the conflict but are far from the frontline, with little idea of what is going on. The drama, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, opened in German theaters this past September and has been picked up by Kino Lorber for a domestic release in 2026.
