Plaza Mayor Company has released a soundtrack album for the French historical drama The Great Arch (L’inconnu de la Grande Arche). The album features the film’s original music composed by Olivier Marguerit (The Night of the 12thMy Best Part, First Case, The Lion Sleeps TonightDark Inclusion). The Great Arch is co-written and directed by Stéphane Demoustie and stars Claes Bang, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Xavier Dolan, Michel Fau and Swann Arlaud. The movie is based on the true story of the Great Arch of La Défense and centers on on Danish architect Otto von Spreckelsen who was thrust into the spotlight after winning the 1983 international competition to design it and – against all odds – emerged as the unlikely winner of the competition. The drama premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and is opening in French theaters today. Cohen Media Group has picked up domestic distribution rights for a release in the U.S. in early 2026.
