Clacks and Bangs will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Natchez. The album features the film’s original score composed by James Newberry (Is This Thing On?, Wolfgang, Barron’s Cove, The Lady and the Dale, Enigma). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 4 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Natchez is directed by Suzannah Herbert and centers on the titular Mississippi town that is reckoning with a romanticized past and the debt it owes to the descendants of slavery after generations of showcasing its antebellum homes and hoop-skirted docents. The movie follows an array of historic homeowners, tour guides and activists and as they tell their versions of the past, and clash over who gets to tell America’s story. The documentary premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and has been picked up Oscilloscope Laboratories by for a domestic release on January 30, 2026 in New York before expanding to more markets in the following weeks.
