Laura Karpman (American FictionCaptain America: Brave New World, Paris Can WaitThe Marvels, Miss MarvelWhat If…?, Marvel Zombies, Set It Up) has provided the original score for the new Apple TV original series Down Cemetery Road. The show is written by Morwenna Banks (Funny Woman) based on Mick Herron’s novel of the same title and stars Emma Thompson, Ruth Wilson, Adeel Akhtar, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Tom Goodman-Hill, Darren Boyd, Tom Riley, Sinead Matthews, Adam Godley,Ken Nwosu, Fehinti Balogun and Aiysha Hart. The 8-part detective drama follows a woman who becomes obsessed with finding a girl who disappears in in a quiet Oxford suburb and enlists the help of a private investigator. Banks also serves as the showrunner and is executive producing the project with Herron & Thompson, as well as Jamie Laurenson & Hakan Kousetta (Slow Horses, The Essex Serpent) and Tom Nash (Hijack, Gwen) for 60Forty Films. Down Cemetery Road will premiere next Wednesday, October 29 exclusively on Apple TV.
