Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the French sci-fi aadventure The Incredible Shrinking Man (L’homme qui rétrécit). The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Shape of Water, The King’s Speech, The Queen, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Jurassic World Rebirth, Godzilla, Philomena). The Incredible Shrinking Man is directed by Jan Kounen and stars Jean Dujardin, Marie-Josee Croze, Stephanie van Vyve, Salim Talbi and Daphne Richard. The movie is based on Richard Matheson’s classic sci-fi novel and follows a shipbuilder who inexplicably shrinks and must fight for survival in now-hostile ordinary household environment. The film is being released in French theaters today. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
