Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the documentary John Candy: I Like Me. The album features the film’s original score composed by Tyler Strickland (SlyDescendent, The American Meme, Audrie & DaisyFaye, Trial by MediaNavajo Police: Class 57Changing the Game). Verve & Republic Records have previously released Cynthia Erivo’s Everytime You Go Away cover from the movie as a digital single earlier this month. John Candy: I Like Me is directed by Colin Hanks and centers on the life, career, and loss of one of the most beloved actors of all time. The movie produced by Ryan Reynolds features never-before-seen archival footage, imagery, and interviews with those who knew John best. The documentary premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival and made its streaming debut last Friday on Prime Video.
