Back Lot Music will release soundtrack album for the horror sequel Black Phone 2. The album features the film’s original music composed by Atticus Derrickson who has made his feature scoring debut on the project. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, October 17 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first and final track below. Waxwork Records will release a vinyl edition. Black Phone 2 is co-written and directed by Scott Derrickson and stars Mason Thames, Madeleine McGraw, Ethan Hawke, Demián Bichir, Miguel Mora, Jeremy Davies and Arianna Rivas. The movie follows Gwen as she begins receiving calls in her dreams from the black phone and seeing disturbing visions of three boys being stalked at a winter camp known and persuades her brother Finn to visit the camp during a winter storm, where she uncovers a shattering intersection between The Grabber and her own family’s history. The Blumhouse production is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Universal Pictures.
