Kevin Matley (Den of Thieves 2: Pantera, Concrete Cowboy, Path of the Panther) has composed the original music for the upcoming action comedy sequel The Family Plan 2. The film is directed by Simon Cellan Jones (Some Voices, Years and Years) and stars Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Monaghan, Zoe Colletti, Kit Harington, Van Crosby, Peter Lindsey, Reda Elazouar and Theodore Lindsey. The movie follows the Morgan family on a holiday vacation in Europe, when a mysterious figure from Dan’s past shows up with unfinished business and an international game of cat-and-mouse ensues. David Coggeshall (Orphan: First Kill, The Haunting in Connecticut 2) wrote the screenplay. Wahlberg is also producing the Skydance Media production with avid Ellison & Dana Goldberg (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Reacher), Don Granger (The Tomorrow War, The Old Guard),  Stephen Levinson (Entourage, Deepwater Horizon) and John G. Scotti. Matley has previously scored 2023’s original The Family Plan movie and also collaborated with the director on last year’s Arthur the King. The Family Plan 2 will premiere on November 21, 2025 exclusively on Apple TV.
