Verve & Republic Records have released the cover version of Everytime You Go Away from the Prime Video original documentary John Candy: I Like Me. The track (originally written by Darryl Hall for Hall & Oates and later covered by Paul Young in a version that appeared in the Candy-starring Planes, Trains and Automobiles) is produced (with Will Wells) and performed by Cynthia Erivo and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. John Candy: I Like Me is directed by Colin Hanks, produced by Ryan Reynolds and centers on the life, career, and loss of one of the most beloved actors of all time. The movie (scored by Tyler Strickland) premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival and will debut next Friday, October 10 on Prime Video.
