Ego Plum (The Cuphead Show!, Jellystone, SpongeBob SquarePants, Harvey Breaks, Welcome to the Waynes) has released a soundtrack album for the animated movie Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires. The album features the composer’s original music from the film and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen Plum’s opening titles track and main theme after the jump. Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires is directed by Juan Jose Meza-Leon and stars Horacio García Rojas, Omar Chaparro & Álvaro Morte (in the movie’s Spanish language version) and Jay Hernandez and Raymond Cruz (English language version). The reimagining of the Batman legend set in the Aztec empire tells the story of a young Aztec boy who escapes to Tenochtitlán after his father is murdered by Spanish conquistadors and develops weaponry to avenge his father’s death. The Warner Bros. Animation, Ánimahe & Chatrone production, which just opened in select Mexican theaters this past weekend, was released in the U.S. on VOD last Friday by Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment and will be coming out on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD tomorrow, September 23.
