A24 Music will release a soundtrack album for the Prime Video original series Overcompensating. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Alex Somers (Nickel Boys, Captain FantasticHoney Boy, Holland, Together, TogetherCausewayDawson City: Frozen TimeAlohaCharm City Kings). Charli XCX serves as the series’ executive music producer and is credited on several tracks. George Daniel & The Japanese House have also contributed music. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 18 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Overcompensating is created by Benito Skinner and stars Skinner himself, alongside Wally Baram, Mary Beth Barone, Rish Shah, Adam DiMarco, Corteon Moore, Owen Thiele, Nell Verlaque and Tomaso Sanelli. The comedy follows a closeted former football player and homecoming king as he becomes fast friends with an outsider on a mission to fit in at all costs. The series premiered this past May on Prime Video. A second season has just been ordered earlier this month.
