Lakeshore Records will a soundtrack album for the Prime Video original series The Girlfriend. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Ruth Barrett (Bodyguard, The Terminal List, The Old Guard 2, Victoria, The Decameron, Law & Order: Organized Crime, Collateral, Sanditon, Harry Brown). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 12 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The Girlfriend is developed by Naomi Sheldon & Gabbie Asher based on the novel of the same title by Michelle Frances and stars Robin Wright, Olivia Cooke, Laurie Davidson, Tayna Moodie, Waleed Zuaiter, Anna Chancellor, Leo Suter, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Karen Henthorn and Francesca Corney. The psychological thriller revolves around a woman whose perfect life begins to unravel when her son brings home a girlfriend and becomes convinced that she is hiding something. The series just premiered yesterday and is now available to stream on Prime Video.
