Tony Doogan has composed the original music for the upcoming British heist thriller Fuze. The film is directed by David Mackenzie (Hell or High WaterPerfect Sense) and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Theo James, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sam Worthington, Elham Ehsan and Saffron Hocking. The movie opens with the discovery of a World War II-era  bomb on a London construction site and takes place during the ensuing mass evacuation that is perfect cover for serious, organized crime. Ben Hopkins (Inside, Simon Magus) wrote the screenplay. Mackenzie is also producing the project with Sigma Films’ Gillian Berrie (TetrisUnder the Banner of Heaven) and Anton’s Sébastien Raybaud (Greenland, Canary Black)& Callum Grant (Cleaner, Jackdaw). Doogan has previously scored Mackenzie’s last feature, Relay, which is currently playing in theaters and also co-scored the director’s 2013 drama Starred Up and 2018’s Outlaw Kings as part of Grey Dogs. Fuze is premiering tonight at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival.
