Deutsche Grammophon has released a soundtrack album for the British drama The Trap. The album features the film’s original music composed by the Texas-based duo Balmorhea (Rob Lowe and Michael A. Muller). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the duo’s first two tracks below. The Trap is written and directed by Lena Headey and stars Michelle Fairley and James Nelson Joyce. The movie, which marks Headey’s feature directorial debut, is based on her BAFTA-nominated short of the same name and follows a woman whose simple world is interrupted by a stranger seeking to belong. The drama premiered at the 2023 Austin Film Festival and is currently awaiting a release date.
