Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Gladiator, The Lion King, Dune,  Inception, Interstellar), Steven Doar & Omer Benyamin are attached to score the upcoming drama The Last Photograph. The film is directed by Zack Snyder (300, Dawn of the Dead, Watchmen) and will star Stuart Martin and Fra Fee. The movie centers on a ex-DEA operative who must return to the South American mountains following the brutal murders of their diplomat parents, in an effort to find his missing niece and nephew, . Kurt Johnstad (Atomic Blonde, Act of Valor) wrote the screenplay based on a story by Snyder who is also producing the project with Deborah Snyder & Wesley Coller (Rebel Moon, Army of the Dead) for Stone Quarry, alongside Gianni Nunnari (Immortals, Everybody’s Fine) for Hollywood Gang Productions. Zimmer has previously collaborated with Snyder on the features Man of Steel, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice & Army of Thieves. He also co-scored the filmmaker’s Netflix animated series Twilight of the Gods with Doar & Benyamin. The Last Photograph starts production this month and will shoot through November in Iceland, Colombia and Los Angeles. (Deadline).
