Greg Birkumshaw (Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, Bambi: The Reckoning, It Came from Below, Bats) has released a soundtrack album for the British period gothic horror feature The Monster Beneath Us. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to a track from Birkumshaw’s score after the jump. The Monster Beneath Us is written and directed by Sophie Osbourne and stars Becca Hirani, Nicola Wright and Marshall K. Hawkes. The movie is set in the late 19th Century and follows grieving woman and her son who move back to the unoccupied house of her recently deceased ex-husband and soon discover they are not alone inside the icy house. The film premiered at last year’s FrightFest and was released in select U.S. theaters and on VOD this past January by Vertical.
