Steven Price (Gravity, Fury, Last Night in Soho, Our Planet, Suicide Squad, Over the Moon, Baby Driver, The World’s End) has composed the original music for the upcoming action comedy Heads of State. The film is directed by Ilya Naishuller (Nobody, Hardcore Henry) and stars Idris Elba, John Cena, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Jack Quaid, Carla Gugino, Stephen Root, Richard Coyle, Sarah Niles and Paddy Considine. The movie follows the U.S. President and the UK Prime Minister who must set aside their rivalry to thwart a global conspiracy and save the world – if they can work together. Josh Appelbaum & André Nemec (Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and Harrison Query wrote the screenplay based on a story by Query. Peter Safran (Aquaman, The Conjuring) and John Rickard (Horrible Bosses, Blue Beetle) are producing the project. Heads of State will premiere on July 2, 2025 exclusively on Prime Video.
Price’s other recent projects include Sophie Brooks’ Oh, Hi!, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and has been picked up by Sony Pictures Classics for domestic release on July 25. He also scored Dave Green’s Coyote vs. Acme, which is expected to be released in 2026 by Ketchup Entertainment.
