Anton Sanko is scoring the upcoming horror thriller Nurse 3-D. The movie is directed by Doug Aarniokoski (The Day, Highlander Endgame) and stars Paz De La Huerta (Boardwalk Empire) as a nurse who uses her sexuality to indulge a sinister side that finds her punishing dishonest men. Katrina Bowden, Corbin Bleu and Judd Nelson are co-starring in the film. David Loughery (Lakeview Terrace, Star Trek V: The Final Frontier) has written the screenplay and Marc Bienstock is producing the Lionsgate Entertainment production. Sanko has most recently scored the horror thriller The Possession starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Kyra Sedgwick for the studio. Nurse 3-D is currently in post-production and no release date has been announced yet.
Sanko, whose other previous credits include Rabbit Hole and HBO’s Big Love, also has the Lifetime TV biopic Ring of Fire coming up. The film stars Grammy-nominated singer Jewel as country artist June Carter Cash. The drama follows her life from early childhood growing up in the rural mountains of Virginia to her relationship with Johnny Cash. Matt Ross, Frances Conroe and John Doe are co-starring. Allison Anders (Grace of my Heart) is directing the film and Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Richard Friedenberg (A River Runs Through It) has written the screenplay. Steven Michaels and Jonathan Koch are producing the Asylum Entertainment production. No air date has been announced yet for Ring of Fire.
