A24 has announced a soundtrack album for the comedy Y2K. The album features a selection of the songs from the film by artists such as Fatboy Slim, Mandy Moore, Korn, ATB, Limp Bizkit & others, as well as bonus contributions from the cast, including Julian Dennison’s rendition of Sisqó’s Thong Song (check out the just released video clip below). The soundtrack CD will be released on January 17, 2025 and is now available to order exclusively from A24’s online store. Y2K is co-written and directed by Kyle Mooney and stars Rachel Zegler, Jaeden Martell, Julian Dennison, Lachlan Watson, Daniel Zolghadri, Mason Gooding and The Kid Laroi. The movie takes place on the final night of 1999 and follows two high school juniors as they crash a New Years Eve party, only to find themselves fighting for their lives. The comedy premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and has just been released in theaters nationwide this past weekend by A24.
