Grande Ourse has released a soundtrack album for the Swiss/French comedy Dog on Trial (Le procès du chien). The album features the film’s original music composed by David Sztanke (Transatlantic, Raël: The Alien Prophet, Magnetic Beats, Sophie’s Misfortunes, Keep an Eye Out). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. Dog on Trial is co-written and directed by Laetitia Dosch and stars Dosch herself, Françaois Damiens and Jean-Pascal Zadi. The movie revolves around a spirited young attorney and her client, her faithful canine companion who goes on trial for biting three people, confronting not only the legal system but also advocating for both women’s and animal rights. The comedy premiered in the Un Certain Regard section at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and has just been released in French theaters earlier this month.
