Eldad Guetta (Press Play, Always Jane, In the Know, Dirty Tricks) has composed the original music for the upcoming comedy Shell. The film is directed by Max Minghella and stars Elisabeth Moss, Kate Hudson, Kaia Gerber, Arian Moayed, Este Haim, Elizabeth Berkley, Lionel Boyce, Peter MacNicol, Amy Landecker and Ziwe. The movie revolves around an actress who is given an opportunity to get a free trial at a pioneering health and beauty company which promises to keep its clients looking young forever and – after a group of other patients go missing under mysterious circumstances – challenges the firm’s CEO over her questionable science. Jack Stanley (Lou, The Passenger) wrote the screenplay. Minghella & Moss are also producing the project with Fred Berger (La La Land, Gretel & Hansel), Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Midnight Special, Sinister), Lindsey McManus (Shining Girls, The Veil), Hal Sadoff (Orphan: First Kill) and Norman Golightly (Lord of War, Next). Guetta has previously contributed additional music to Minghella’s directorial debut, Teen Spirit. Shell is premiering this week at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.
