Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the movie adaptation of the video game series Borderlands. The album features the film’s original music composed by Steve Jablonsky (Transformers, The Island, Deepwater Horizon, DC League of Super-Pets, Desperate Housewives, Ender’s Game, Skyscraper, Battleship). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, August 9 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Borderlands is co-written and directed by Eli Roth and stars Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Ariana Greenblatt, Edgar Ramírez, Gina Gershon, Florian Munteanu and Jamie Lee Curtis. The sci-fi action comedy follows an infamous bounty hunter with a mysterious past who reluctantly returns to her home, Pandora, the most chaotic planet in the galaxy, and forms an unexpected alliance with a ragtag team of misfits to find the missing daughter of Atlas the universe’s most powerful S.O.B. The movie will be released in theaters nationwide on August 9 by Lionsgate.
