Composer Michael Price (Sherlock, Dracula, Eternal Beauty, Unforgotten, A Fantastic Fear of Everything, Wild Target, Just Jim) is reuniting with director/editor Nick Moore on the upcoming British romantic comedy This Time Next Year. The film is based on Sophie Cousens’ novel of the same title and stars Lucien Laviscount, Sophie Cookson, Golda Rosheuvel, John Hannah, Monica Dolan and Mandip Gill. The movie follows a man and a woman who connect at a New Year’s Eve party and quickly realize they were born on New Year’s Day of the same year, in the same London hospital, one minute apart. Cousens also wrote the screenplay. Giuliano Papadia (The Ex-Wife, The Serial Kiler’s Wife) is producing the project for BlackBox Multimedia, alongside Herbert L. Kloiber (Rogue Agent, The Name of the Rose) for Night Train Media, as well as Erika Hossington (The Good Karma Hospital). Price has previously scored Moore’s first two feature directorial efforts, Wild Child and Horrid Henry: The Movie. This Time Next Year will be released in the UK on digital platforms on June 3, 2024 by Signature Entertainment.
Price also continues to score the BritBox series Sister Boniface Mysteries, which just returned for its third season last week.
