Columbia Records has released a reimagined cover version of Otis Redding’s classic Christmas song Merry Christmas Baby from the Amazon original movie Candy Cane Lane. The track, which is featured during the movie’s opening credits sequence, is performed by Chlöe and is now available to stream/download exclusively on Amazon Music. The single also includes the singer/songwriter’s take on Darlene Love’ Winter Wonderland. Candy Cane Lane is directed by Reginald Hudlin and stars Eddie Murphy, Tracee Ellis Ross, Jillian Bell, Thaddeus J. Mixson, Ken Marino, Robin Thede, Nick Offerman, Riki Lindhome and Stephen Tobolowsky. The family comedy (scored by Marcus Miller) will premiere on December 1 exclusively on Prime Video.
