Brazilian singer/songwriter Rodrigo Amarante has recently composed the music for the upcoming family drama His Three Daughters. The film is written and directed by Azazel Jacobs (Terri, The Lovers) and stars Natasha Lyonne, Elizabeth Olsen, Carrie Coon, Jovan Adepo, Rudy Galvan, Jay O. Sanders, Jose Febus, Jasmine Bracey and Randy Ramos Jr. The movie revolves around three estranged sisters who come together after their father’s health declines to plan for the inevitable. Jacobs is also producing the project with Alex Orlovsky (The Place Beyond the Pines, Blue Valentine), Jack Selby & Duncan Montgomery (Freeheld, Windfall), Lia Buman (Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, The Drop), Marc Marrie, Mal Ward, Matt Aselton (Gigantic, Lying and Stealing), Tim Headington (Hugo, The Green Knight) and Diaz Jacobs. Amarante has previously made his feature scoring debut on Jose Padilha’s 2018 thriller 7 Days in Entebbe and also contributed the theme song to the Netflix series NarcosHis Three Daughters will premiere this weekend at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival.
