Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for Paul Schrader’s crime thriller Master Gardener. The album features the film’s original music composed by Devonté Hynes (aka Blood Orange) (Queen & Slim, We Are Who We Are, Palo Alto, Passing, Mainstream). Also include is the song Space and Time by Mereba. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 19 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Master Gardener is written and directed by Schrader and stars Joel Edgerton, Sigourney Weaver, Esai Morales and Quintessa Swindell. The movie follows the horticulturist of an American estate who is forced to confront his dark past when the estate’s wealthy dowager forces him to take her troubled great-niece on as a new apprentice. The thriller premiered at last year’s Venice Film Festival and is being released in select theaters tomorrow by Magnolia Pictures.
