Folkgang Records has released the original song Birdie from the Italian western Heads or Tails? (Testa o Croce?). The track written by the film’s composer Vittorio Giampietro and actor John C. Reilly (who stars as Buffalo Bill) and performed by Reilly is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the song after the jump. As previously reported, a full soundtrack album featuring Giampietro’s original score from the movie was released last October. Heads or Tails? is co-written and directed by Alessio Rigo de Righi & Matteo Zoppis and also stars Nadia Tereszkiewicz, Alessandro Borghi, Mirko Artuso, Gabriele Silli, Peter Lanzani and Gianni Garko. The western, which premiered at last year’s Cannes Film Festival, opened in Italian theaters last fall and will be released in select U.S. theaters and on VOD this Friday, April 10 by Samuel Goldwyn Films.
