L’R du Trésor has released a soundtrack album for the French drama The Rembrandt Syndrome (Rembrandt). The album features the film’s original music composed by Pawel Mykietyn (EO, The Other Lamb, War Game, In the Name Of, 11 Minutes, Elles). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s opening and end credits tracks. The Rembrandt Syndrome is co-written and directed by Pierre Schoeller and stars Camille Cottin, Romain Duris, Denis Podalydès, Bruno Podalydès, Céleste Brunnquell and Kester Lovelace. The movie follows two nuclear engineers who develops a strange emotional connection to Rembrandt paintings after visiting the National Gallery,, leading them to question their work, safety, and existence. The opened in French theaters last September. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
