Walt Disney Records has released the first track from the soundtrack for the upcoming Disney Jr. animated series Sofia the First: Royal Magic. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is the show’s theme song written by John Kavanaugh & Craig Gerber based on their theme from the original 2013 Sofia the First series and performed by Ariel Winter who stars in the title role. Also listen to the track after the jump. A full soundtrack album will be released on April 29. Sofia the First: Royal Magic is created by Gerber and also stars Nate Torrence, Mela Pietropaolo, Kai Harris, Aaliyah Magcasi, Wayne Brady, Tim Gunn, Eric Stonestreet, Travis Willingham, Sara Ramirez, Darcy Rose Byrnes & Jess Harnell, as well as recurring/guest voice cast members Beanie Feldstein, Yvette Nicole Brown, James Monroe Iglehart, Jeremy Swift and Tony Hale. The Disney Television Animation production, which follows Sofia as she attends The Charmswell School for Royal Magic, will premiere on May 25 on Disney Jr. and will also be available to stream on Disney+ the following day.
