Raven Banner Releasing has released a soundtrack album for the Deathstalker reboot. The album features the film’s original score composed by Blitz//Berlin (Silent Night, Deadly Night, Queens of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Still/Born, PG: Psycho Goreman, Frankie Freako). Sparks & Shadows Records has previously released a digital single featuring Bear McCreary’s title song (in two different versions), as well as the song Walking Alone by Nina Bergman & Jonah Nimoy. Deathstalker is written and directed by Steven Kostanski and stars Daniel Bernhardt, Christina Orjalo, Paul Lazenby, Nicholas Rice, as well as Patton Oswalt as the voice of Doodad. The movie based on the 1983 feature of the same title follows the title character who gets marked by dark magic and hunted by monstrous assassins when he recovers a cursed amulet from a corpse-strewn battlefield and must break the curse to survive. The sword and sorcery film was released in select theaters last October by Shout! Studios and is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
