B Original has released a soundtrack album for the French thriller The Price to Pay (La guerre des prix). The album features the film’s original music composed by Benjamin Grossmann (La damnée, Les Livreurs). The Price to Pay is co-written and directed by Anthony Dechaux and stars Ana Girardot, Olivier Gourmet, Julien Frison, Aurelia Petit and Jonas Bloquet. The movie follows a dairy specialist from Normandy who gets thrust into a world of ruthless corporate negotiations when she accepts a job at a major retail chain’s central purchasing office in Paris that challenges her values. The thriller just opened in French theaters this past Wednesday. No word yet on a domestic release.
